Projects
The Building Blocks for Health Equity Unit houses three projects.
Building Block Collaborative
Building Blocks Collaborative (BBC) is a diverse collaborative that brings together people with the ideas, the connections and the skills we need to create conditions where every child – in every neighborhood – can thrive.
Best Babies Zone
Best Babies Zone (BBZ) is a national project funded by the W. K. Kellogg foundation and is an opportunity to change children’s trajectories, by working with non-traditional partners to transform a historically disinvested neighborhood into one of health and economic vibrancy.
Health Equity & Resource Advocates
Health Equity & Resource Advocates (HERA) is our newest project (based on the Prosperity Project) and is developing client-focused solutions to address the social factors that impact the health of the pregnant women, fathers and families with young children who are receiving our services.
Previous projects include: The Alameda County Prosperity Project, Food to Families, and BBC HEAL.
