Application and On-Boarding Process

There are several steps to becoming an intern with ACPHD. First there is an application form to complete, which provides information about an intern’s interests and current skills. The application is reviewed by ACPHD staff in a program that can potentially host an intern. The program within ACPHD has additional forms to complete, including a job description and risk assessment.

It is important to note that the application process can take several weeks.

There are also steps to becoming an intern, once the initial application process has been completed. A potential intern must be approved by the Human Resources Division and must clear security requirements.

It is important to note that the onboarding process that involves human resources and security clearance procedures can take several more weeks.

The onboarding process, overall, can take at least 2-3 months. Interested individuals should be prepared to go through several steps over an extended period to become an intern.
