Nurse Family Partnership (NFP)
Nurse Family Partnership is a home visiting program that partners nurses with low income first-time moms residing in Oakland, in order to give babies the best start in life. Case management services begin in pregnancy and continue until the child reaches two years old. During that time, parents are provided with health education, support, and child development information so that families can create better lives for their child and themselves.
