MyPlate illustrates the five food groups - fruits, grains, proteins, vegetables and dairy - that are the building blocks for a healthy diet. A variety of nutrition resources (tips and activity sheets, videos, songs, games, toolkits, social media messaging) is offered for specific groups, including:
Preschoolers
Resources for parents and teachers, including customizable growth charts and food group information, tips for picky eaters, food safety for preschoolers, and more.
Kids
Resources include games, activity sheets, kid-friendly recipes, and physical activity tips. Kids can also pledge to become MyPlate Champions.
Teens
Young people experience many changes during their tween and teen years. Building healthy food and physical activity habits will help them now and as they enter adulthood.
Young Adults
MyPlate On Campus is an initiative to get college and university students talking about and adopting healthy lifestyles that they can maintain during and beyond their college years.
Adults
Adults of all ages have different nutrition and physical activity needs as their lives and bodies change. Learn how to take care of yourself.
Pregnancy/Breastfeeding
