Aspen Institute Opportunity Youth Initiative: Steering Committee
The Aspen Institute Opportunity Youth Incentive Fund is a national initiative serving as an incentive to build collaborative in communities to effectively provide “opportunity youth,” ages 16-24 that are disconnected from school and work, pathways to success. Four target sectors identified by the Opportunity Youth Initiative include Health, Advanced Manufacturing, Construction, and Digital Arts/Media/Information Technology.
The Alameda County Health Pipeline Program director serves as a member of the Steering Committee for the Oakland-Alameda Opportunity Youth Initiative providing connections between onramps work and pipeline efforts in the Health Sector Commission.
