Objectives: The central purpose and role of Mentoring in Medicine & Science, Inc., is to increase the diversity of the health care workforce by igniting an interest in health careers and helping students to create a strategic plan for graduation from health professional school. Our goal is to create a seamless system of mentorship, academic enrichment and leadership development by working with students from 3rd grade to graduation from health professional school and through early careers.
